We only get one chance (usually) to hold a service, be that for a funeral, wedding, baby naming or vow renewal and it’s so important that it’s right.
I want to make sure the ceremony reflects you, you as a couple, you as a family, or your loved one, who has passed. There are no right or wrong ways and that’s why choosing a Celebrant for your service is a wonderful choice to make.
It gives you the chance to have a service that is unique and special to you. It’s a moment in time that you would like to be remembered and treasured forever - for all the right reasons.
Funerals can be tough, there is so much to arrange and sort out, but knowing that you have someone who will guide you through the service, who will listen and capture the essence of your loved one and deliver a service fitting to their memory - that is precious and all helps with the grieving process.
A modern approach
It’s easy to have a registry service, but how about something different? How about something that isn’t off the shelf that everyone gets? How about something unique to you, as a couple.
As a Civil Celebrant, I can give you this, yes you will still need to do the ‘legal admin’ with a registrar, but the ceremony itself can be as bespoke and beautiful as the two of you are. Let’s share your love story with guests, let’s incorporate some hand-tying rituals or ring-warming ceremonies, heck, you can even jump the broom if you so wish!
That’s the great thing about a Civil Celebrant - your wish is my delight and I can travel anywhere in the UK or abroad if you so desire ;-)
My rates
Funerals
You’ll be pleased to know that this is part of your package with your Funeral Director, no hidden costs. I get paid directly by the Funeral Director - one less thing for you to worry about.
Weddings
This starts from £600 for a basic service (but let’s be honest, there won’t be anything basic about it!)
If travel and overnight accommodation is required, these will be added to the fee.
You get a free no obligation consultation and then a further 1 hour meet up, draft copy of the service, plus a practice run too and Wedding Ceremony Certificate on the day too.
Baby Naming
These start at £220 and can take place at any venue, inside or outside, the choice is yours.
You will get an hours meet, a practice run with baby and a Baby Naming Certificate. This also includes any Guide Parents involvement too.
Vow Renewal
This is a wonderful opportunity to re-confirm your vows to one another again and not only celebrate that commitment but also celebrate the wonderful memories you have made and your plans for the future too.
